Classroom Decor Projects, Reading Response Freebie

Hey EveRyBody!  How are you today? It has been a day of vacuuming, mopping and cleaning bathrooms at our house! One of things that just has to be done! I always feel so much better when everything is clean all at once. . .I also had time to take a small nap, which is getting to be a very bad habit for me this summer! This is one of the benefits, if you will of being parents of grown children . . .

I mentioned the other day that my husband was working on a couple of projects for me. Well, one of them was a spray paint project for my classroom. Here are the before and after photos

Meanwhile, I have been working on some things for my classroom also . .

I purchased the Polka Dot and Daisy set from

I personalized the table labels using my Cricut

and the Cuttin' Up Cartridge (did you know that Ebay is a great resource for Cricut Cartridges!)

The big purple daisy is from

I have also been working on some reading response forms to go with the Common Core.
Here is a freebie

Love your daisy. I was wondering how you had such cute letters. I have a cricut but always forget to pull it out and use it.
Thanks for inspiring me!

Your table is so cute -- I love the big flower on it! My husband has been doing projects left and right for me over the last two weeks. I will be a first year 2nd grade teacher this year and have been super busy getting everything ready! I am glad to have found your blog -- I can't wait to see more of your ideas!
