Chick Life Cycle

This week we have been studying about life cycles.  We have been fortunate enough to get some eggs and an incubator through the extension office of Utah State.  It has been very exciting.  We got twelve eggs and we had eleven of them hatch.  The kids thought it was the coolest thing ever...  I made a book that went along with our study of the life cycle of a chick.  Sorry it isn't to cutesy, but it went along perfectly as we watched the chicks hatch.

We've just begun watching our little chicks too! We'll be on day 5 tomorrow and our campus technologist set up a "chick cam" so we can peek in on them via email anytime of day! Butterfly larva are on the way too! I love science in the spring!
