Pumpkin Syllables and an Awesome Halloween Craft Book

Greetings everyone. I hope your day is going well. Wow, tomorrow is already Friday! Today, we rearranged our classroom and wiped down all of the counters. It is always a good feeling to do that. Tomorrow, the kids are going to organize the inside of their desks. I think this is important, even in First grade. I have 2 things to share with you today. One is a "Pumpkin Syllables" freebie and the other is a cool craft book, that has nothing to do with anything, but I love it anyway!

Here is the book . . .this is the most delightful book to look at if you like crafts and Halloween. I don't know if I will even make anything out of it, but I LoVe LooKiNg at it AnYwAY!!! I saw it in a bookstore this weekend, and then promptly went home and ordered it from Amazon, (and saved about 6 bucks!) You can preview it on Amazon . . .

Grandma and Grandpa went Trick or Treating too!

Isn't it funny how children think grown ups were never children themselves? They find it hard to believe and yet love to hear about what parents, teachers or grandparents did when they were young. Here is a little activity that the kids can do with either or both grandparents!
